Ripening up to 2 weeks earlier than the ever popular ‘Tumbler’! Tomato 'Red Profusion' is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best basket and container varieties available. This bush cherry tomato forms a neat and compact plant with a superb branching habit. Just one plant will easily fill a 30cm (12") basket, producing heavy crops of 20g, sweet cherry tomatoes. This bush variety is easy to grow with no side shooting needed. Perfect for growing in containers outdoors, but can also be grown in the greenhouse if required. Height and spread: 45cm (18").

Supplied as peat free plugs/9cm pots.

Grow on plugs in frost free conditions and transplant into baskets and containers. When all risk of frost has passed gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 - 10 days before positioning baskets outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun.

Water tomato plants frequently, to keep the compost evenly moist. Feed tomatoes regularly with a high potash plant food once the first truss of fruit has formed. Dwarf bush varieties do not require staking or side shooting. Tomatoes can be harvested as they ripen from July to September.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
