Our Trachelospermum Wings Duo includes two stunning varieties of Star Jasmine:

  • Trachelospermum ‘White Wings’ - bears classic, pure white flowers which stand out beautifully against the glossy, dark green foliage. Height and spread: 3m (10’). 3 Litre potted plant.
  • Trachelospermum ‘Pinky Wings’ - a new variety, bearing exquisite shell-pink flowers with a yellow centre. Height and spread: 3m (10’). 3 Litre potted plant.

Trachelospermum jasminoides is the deserved winner of an RHS AGM award. One of the very best climbers, it is a beautiful, all-season performer for a wall, fence, trellis, or container. In July and August, it is smothered in heavily perfumed flowers. The flower  is composed of twirled petals giving it an exquisite starry appearance. This twining climber is a vigorous grower but perfectly suitable for container growing. The summer display is complemented by attractive evergreen, glossy leaves often turning deep red in winter. Offering flowers, scent, and evergreen foliage, Trachelospermum is a star performer.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow star jasmine plants in frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown, plant Trachelospermum jasminoides in fertile, well drained soil in sun or semi-shade. Choose a sheltered position that is protected from cold winter winds. In particularly cold areas, Trachelospermum jasminoides is best grown in patio containers of loam based compost, such as John Innes No.2, that can be moved to a protected position over winter. Provide the twining stems with an appropriate support such as trellis, wires or a free standing climbing frame.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. After flowering, reduce the stems to restrict them to the available space. Caution: The milky sap of trachelospermum is an irritant to skin and eyes Caution: irritant to skin and eyes
