Unique lemon and lime coloured blooms with fantastic frayed edges to each of the petals. This unusual colour combination brings a refreshing twist to spring planting schemes, contrasting beautifully with traditional red and yellow tulips. Tulip 'Green Jay' also makes an interesting addition to a contemporary vase of cut flowers. Bulb size 11/12cm. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 15cm (6").

Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Tulip bulbs should be planted in late autumn, with the pointed end facing upwards, at a depth of approximately 3 times their height. Make sure that they are planted deep enough - shallow planting may prevent the bulbs receiving the necessary winter cold period that is essential for them to produce flowers in spring. Choose a sunny position in moist, free draining soil.

After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in June or July.
