Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

A compact and well branched variety of this well known hardy perennial plant. The naturally spreading habit of Verbena ‘Santos’ makes it ideal as a groundcover plant or also for using in a container where it can spill over the edges. Masses of lilac-purple flowers will cover the plant during the summer and into early autumn, making this small variety well worth adding to any collection. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Pot up plug plants and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting later on. Water sparingly until plugs are fully rooted into pots and pouches. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise verbena plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them into their final containers.

Grow containers of Verbena in full sun. Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to ensure an endless supply of flowers. Verbena flowers do not require dead heading.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
