Plant plugs directly into flower pouches& trade; or grow them on for transplanting into window boxes, containers and borders later on. Grow on in a cool frost free position. When fully rooted into their pots, gradually acclimatise viola plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to planting them in their final positions. Grow viola plants in sun or semi shade in well drained, rich, fertile soil.
Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded viola flowers before they set seed to prolong the flowering period. Pansies are short-lived perennials, performing best in their first season, and are normally grown as annual or biennial plants.
