This collection of bare root hedging plants has been carefully selected to create an effective boundary, whilst also providing a valuable haven for wildlife. Wildlife hedging offers food, shelter and cover from predators for a multitude of garden visitors.
Elderberry, Dog Rose, Crab Apple and Wild Cherry all produce nectar rich flowers which attract insects. The blooms are followed by colourful fruits which are loved by birds. Garden mammals will also benefit from the shelter created by their dense, bushy growth. Once the desired height has been reached, this hedge can easily be kept to size with regular clipping.
Supplied as 50 - 90cm bareroots (20 - 35") Height: 12m (39'). Spread: 8m (26'). Planting Distance: 30cm (12"). (4 plants per metre for a single line hedge).
