Gaillardia 'Mesa Peach' is a very easy to grow hardy perennial that will flower in its first summer. Just choose a sunny spot, pop the large plant plugs in place as soon as they are delivered then look forward to a vivid peachy display every summer. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 45cm (18"). Supplied as large plug plants.

Gradually acclimatise Blanket flower plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days, and transplant into borders and containers on any well drained soil.

Feed and water occasionally until gaillardia plants are fully established. Deadhead faded Gaillardia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In Late summer, cut back old foliage and flower stems to 15cm (6") to encourage basal growth before the first frosts. In spring, lift and divide overcrowded clumps of gaillardia and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
