Fuchsia arborescensA very different fuchsia to those we grow in our hanging baskets each year. This variety commonly known as the 'tree fuchsia' is hardy to sub-zero temperatures and will provide panicles of rose-purple flowers throughout summer. Geranium maderense 'Collection'(Giant Herb Robert, Madeira Cranesbill) Truly spectacular half-hardy perennials, native to Madeira and commonly called the 'Madeira Cranesbill'. These stunning varieties of Geranium maderense bear white or pink flowers on multiple branching stems, making a really show-stopping summer display! Although flowers appear in the second year, the large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves make an interesting feature on their own, radiating from a stout central trunk. Phoenix PalmPhoenix canariensis (Canary Island Date Palm) For instant impact on your patio and a touch of the exotic, try the Canary Island date palm, winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
