Geranium 'Trailing Collection'

Pelargonium (Ivy-leaved Geranium, Ivy-leaved Pelargonium)

Ivy leaved geraniums are immensely popular and have advanced to the newly bred double flowered varieties. We have selected 4 of the best from the world's leading breeders. Masses of flowers are produced on long trailing stems from June until October. Delight in their vibrant colours as they cascade from your hanging baskets, flower pouches and window boxes. Stems trail to 60cm (24"). Supplied as plug plants.

Lisianthus 'Pink Ice'

Eustoma (Texas Bluebell, Prairie Gentian, Japanese Rose)

A bouquet of bloom erupts from the slim stems of these lisianthus plants in shades of pink and lemon. The large rosette-like blooms of Lisianthus 'Pink Ice' are prized by florists as a superb cut flower. Grow them indoors on a bright windowsill, or outside in sunny borders for that opulent look. Evergreen fern-like foliage makes an attractive foil for clusters of bright yellow, fluffy ball shaped mimosa flowers. Its fragrant, nectar rich blooms are a big attraction for bees and other insects in spring. This half hardy evergreen makes an ideal specimen plant for containers, or sheltered sunny borders. Fuchsia arborescens

A very different fuchsia to those we grow in our hanging baskets each year. This variety commonly known as the 'tree fuchsia' is hardy to sub-zero temperatures and will provide panicles of rose-purple flowers throughout summer. It makes a wonderful specimen for a patio container with its evergreen foliage, and prefers a relatively shady location. Supplied as plug plants. More info

Clematis Summer and Winter flowering Collection

Flowering through June to September, 'Summer Beauty' Clematis repens (The Twinkle Bell Clematis) produces multitudes of nodding, waxy yellow droplet blooms that flower among its rich foliage. Reaching 2m (6ft) high, it requires minimal pruning and its long stems are ideal for training through its winter flowering partner or a trellis or pergola. Clematis urophylla 'Winter Beauty' doubles the flowering season with a winter wonderland of colour. This rarely seen, winter flowering climber produces stunning, creamy – white, bell shaped flowers that adorn its luscious rich green foliage from December to February. Reaching between 4 and 5 meters (13-16ft) high it requires hardly any pruning. Planted side by side and twined as one, this superb double Clematis collection offers two seasons of colour and year round pleasure. Both Clematis supplied in 7cm pots.

Geranium maderense 'Collection'

Truly spectacular half-hardy perennials, native to Madeira and commonly called the 'Madeira Cranesbill'. These stunning varieties of Geranium maderense bear white or pink flowers on multiple branching stems, making a really show-stopping summer display! Although flowers appear in the second year, the large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves make an interesting feature on their own, radiating from a stout central trunk. Geranium maderense plants benefit from some winter protection so are best grown in a conservatory or large patio container which can be moved to a frost-free location. Height: 150cm (59"). Phoenix Palm

Phoenix canariensis (Canary Island Date Palm)

For instant impact on your patio and a touch of the exotic, try the Canary Island date palm, winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Architectural, broadly arching leaves consisting of many leaflets are borne gracefully from a stout columnar trunk. These mature plants are supplied at a height of 60-70cm (24-28") ready for an instant display in your garden! Phoenix canariensis is ideal for conservatories and perfect in patio containers which can be moved to a frost-free position over winter. In mild areas the Canary date palm may be grown in sheltered borders outdoors where it will tolerate temperatures down to -8°C (18°F). Height: 1.5m (5') when restricted in containers.
