Fill your borders with this great value collection of herbaceous perennials. Perennial plants bloom year after year from June to September, and many can also be cut and brought into the house for beautiful flower arrangements. These varieties will be ready to flower beautifully by next summer. Phlox Mixed (Creeping)

Phlox subulata, Moss Phlox

  • Excellent ground cover
  • Evergreen

This variety is evergreen, with a height of no more than 15-25cm. Each plant can spread up to 45cm across and will form spreading mats of mid-green leaves which, from June to September, are smothered with flowers. These plants are very versatile; equally at home on the rockery as well as in the border where they do an excellent job in suppressing weeds. Supplied as 40mm plugs.

Berkheya purpurea

Purple Sunflower, South African Thistle

Berkheya purpurea is a very easy to keep plant that has a sunny disposition to cheer up your beds and borders. This delightful thistle-like plant, originally from South Africa has the typical, slightly prickly leaves, which are good for deterring unwelcome visitors form you garden displays. The crowning glory however are the absolutely lovely light mauve sunflower blooms that appear at the top of taller stems above the foliage. Parahebe 'Snow Clouds'

An unusual but very versatile small hardy perennial which can be used in a variety of places in the garden. Parahebe ‘Snow Clouds' makes a great low groundcover plant as it will effectively spread to help smother weeds , with the added bonus of having very pretty white flowers, each also sporting a delicate pink inner.
