The ideal solution to areas where plants struggle to grow, these useful periwinkles will grow in any location, shady or sunny, and make useful, colourful ground cover where needed. Alternatively let them creep their way through low hedges for additional interest. Perhaps try them in hanging baskets or troughs? Hosta 'White Feather'
(Plantain Lily)A very unusual variety! Emerging leaves appear almost totally white, slowly developing green streaks until the whole leaf turns green. Spikes of lavender flowers tower over the lush foliage from mid summer. Unlike other varieties, White Feather tolerates a sunny position making an attractive border or container plant. Also excellent as ground cover in woodland gardens or on the outskirts of ponds and boggy areas. Height and spread: 45cm (18"). Supplied as size one bareroot plants. More info
