Plant plugs of Petunia surfinia directly into flower pouches or grow them on for transplanting into baskets and containers later on. Grow petunia plants on in a warm frost free position. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions, over a period of 7 to 10 days before planting out in a sunny position.
Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Deadhead faded petunia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced and extend their vibrant display.

  1. Surprisingly Good

    By VA Woolf 15-05-2016

Planted them up straight into hanging baskets even though very small. left them in the conservatory to keep them warm and they're coming on a treat. Only one of thet plugs didn't make it, the rest are getting bigger and stronger by the day and i am very pleased for the price as i had a £5 voucher from a previous order.

  2. forget the tiny plugs

    By ROSE WARING 04-05-2016

So tiny and even though kept indoors and planted up in 3 inch pots, hardly growing so have now resorted to buying trays of lobelia from well known shops particularly as they look so healthy. Definitely giving tiny plug plants a miss in future.
