Bi-coloured pastel shades with egg-yolk yellow centres that are edged in rose pink. These spring favourites can be enjoyed from January to March when their cheery blooms will lift your spirits on the coldest of days. Hardy and undemanding, Primrose Forza Mixed is a must for spring bedding, herbaceous borders, containers and alpine beds. Height and spread: 15cm (6"). Supplied as plug plants.

Pot up plugs and grow them on in cool, bright, frost free conditions watering sparingly until they are fully rooted into their pots. When primrose plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them to their final positions outdoors. Plant primroses in in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in borders, beds, and containers. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.

Take care not to over water during the winter months as cold, wet conditions may cause the plants to rot. Deadhead faded primrose flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide primroses in overcrowded clumps during spring to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
