Broad Bean 'Aquadulce Claudia' (Seeds)

• Sow seed 5cm (2in) deep into prepared, fertile, well-drained soil, that has been raked to a fine tilth.
• Sow double rows, allowing 23-30cm (9-12in) between plants, and 60cm (24in) between each row.
• As plants grow, support them with stout canes and string as neccessary.
• Pinch out the tips of the plants when in full flower to help the pods swell and to help reduce the infestation of blackfly.
• Pick crops fequently when pods are well-filled but still tender.
• Broad Beans are a good source of pro-vitamin A and vitamins C and E, and are also a good source of protein and fibre.
