A simple and ingenious way of planting and lifting all your bulbs. Just place a layer of soil in the basket and space your bulbs at the recommended distance. Dig out a planting hole at the right depth and bury the basket complete with the bulbs, then after flowering simply lift your basket and leave no stray bulbs. Made from sturdy plastic. Diameter 25cm.

These bakets are sturdy and when not in use store easily inside each other. I use mine for storing bulbs on arrival from supplier ensuring that air is circulating round the bulbs. Nearer planting time the bulbs are spaced out in the baskets and covered with soil in readiness for planting when space becomes available or until the ground becomes manageable following rain etc.. Once planted in ground I use wooden plant labels to show location. When flowering is over the tray is lifted and stored to one side until leaves die back and bulbs can be removed.. In the spring the basets are planted out with plug plants for my hangining baskets being placed (as one) in the baskets when needed. A very useful accessary and so versatile.
