This fiery coloured dahlia, is well suited to both a vibrant coloured cottage garden border, or an exotic style garden. The flowers have spiked petals, that are orange, with red tips. Dahlia labella 'Maggiore Fire' provides colour in late summer and autumn, when many other plants are past their best. It also makes a great cutting flower, for home made bouquets. Its large, showy blooms are borne on sturdy stems, with dark green foliage. Height: 60cm (2’). Spread: 30cm (12").

Feed and water dahlias regularly throughout the growing season. While dahlia plants are still young, pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage bushier growth and masses of flowers. Deadhead faded dahlia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Bedding dahlia are generally grown as annuals, however dahlia tubers may be lifted in autumn and stored over winter in trays of peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position if required. They can be potted up the following spring.

Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
