Try Fuchsia 'Eruption' for an unforgettable display in your summer hanging baskets and containers! A cascade of slender, hot pink flowers rain down from the stems of this beautiful trailing fuchsia, bursting open to form a wonderful pink ball that will bloom throughout the summer. Height and spread: 45cm (18"). Supplied as 30mm plugs.

Pot up plugs in 9m pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers or baskets. Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.

Grow fuchsia plants in a sunny or semi shaded site. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
