A vigorous RHS AGM variety, well-loved by gardeners and cooks alike! Upright, silvery stems are covered in needle-like evergreen foliage which is deeply aromatic. From late April to June the stems are filled with irregular clusters of pale lilac flowers which are loved by bees. Rosemary 'Miss Jessop's Upright' forms a medium sized shrub in time, providing useful year-round colour for sunny borders, herb gardens and gravel gardens. This cultivar is especially good for hedging, and like all Rosemary, is a versatile culinary herb. Height: 200cm (78").

Grow Rosemary plants in any well drained soil in full sun at a distance of 60cm (2”) apart.

Rosemary is undemanding and requires little aftercare. Prune lightly in late spring to maintain an attractive shape.

Culinary note: Rosemary goes well with lamb and chicken. Add Rosemary to tomato soup and stews. Rosemary tea is said to help headaches, colic and colds.
