Salvia nemorosa 'Salvatore Deep Blue' makes a lovely focal point at the front of sunny borders. This compact hardy perennial sends up spires of dense, tiny blooms in dark indigo purple. The stems are also dark maroon, giving this eye-catching Salvia a particularly alluring appearance. Like all Salvia, it is loved by pollinating insects for its rich nectar. Perfect for adding a bright splash of colour and an attractive vertical accent to planting schemes. Height: 35cm (14"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Salvia plants prefer a moist, but well-drained soil in full sun, although once established they can also be very drought resistant.

Water regularly until salvia plants are fully established. Deadhead faded flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.
