Pot up bare root plants and grow them on in frost free conditions. When they are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days and transplant into sunny borders. Gypsophila plants dislike particularly wet soils in winter. Plant them in a well drained soil, adding compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay soils.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of the plant.
We will do our best to ship your plants or bulbs to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product.
