Delivery

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently unable to supply plants and seeds to Northern Ireland. Van Meuwen have a large customer base in Northern Ireland and we are committed to finding a way that we can ship there again. Until that time we will be sadly unable to accept orders for live plants and seeds.

Our plants and flower bulbs will incur a delivery charge of £6.99 per order, regardless of the number of items ordered. All such delivery charges are added automatically to your shopping basket. Orders containing seeds only will be charged at £2.99 per order, regardless of the number of items ordered.

Where orders include a combination of items - such as plants, seeds and hard goods, a delivery charge of £7.99 will apply.

Regarding our hard goods range, delivery will start from £6.99 per order with some larger items incurring a higher delivery charge* - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.

Please note a surcharge may apply for deliveries in some areas.

All orders will be acknowledged with the approximate despatch date of your product. This delivery period will be as prescribed by our horticulturalists and may vary due to variable weather conditions. Please note, where 'Despatch: Within 1 days' is stated, this applies to orders placed Sunday-Thursday. Orders placed on a Friday or Saturday will be despatched the following Monday. Orders placed during Bank Holiday weekends will be despatched on the following Tuesday.

Happy Beaks Next Day Delivery Promise

Online orders placed for Happy Beaks bird food or feeders before 2pm Monday to Friday will be delivered the next working day. Orders on Saturday and Sunday will be despatched on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.

• • Each item will be despatched separately together with a planting guide to ensure you get the best results from your plants or bulbs.
• • If a particular item is out of stock we will notify you at the earliest opportunity, giving you plenty of time to select another item or request a refund.

Free delivery promotional offers: please note that in the event of free delivery being offered on orders of a certain value, the qualifying order value is the net value after deduction of any other discounts, vouchers or other promotional prices. It may sometimes be necessary to show delivery promotions as separate discounts.

Regrettably, we are not able to deliver garden supplies or live plants to these postcodes:

HS, IV41-49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Delivery Information for Large Non-Standard (Lorry) Items

Large non-standard delivery items will be marked with a Lorry colour. Details of the lorry charges are listed below. We may need to contact you regarding delivery so please provide a contact number with all orders. For certain large items that require our 2-Man service the delivery will need to be booked in advance and a specific date and time provided by yourself and confirmed by the courier, please note if you are not at the agreed delivery address at the pre-booked date and time and delivery is not possible then we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of missed delivery and re-delivery.

Prices include VAT where applicable.

Due to courier limitations, we are unable to deliver Lorry items outside mainland UK, to Scottish Highlands, Isles or BFPO addresses.

If an additional item/s is added to your order, then a £2 surcharge will be applied in addition to the lorry delivery charge.

We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to more remote areas. Some items may not be available to all areas.

We reserve the right to revise any carriage charges in the event of carrier price increase or other unforeseen circumstances. We will always advise of the carriage charge before payment is taken.
