A magnificent shower of golden yellow foliage held on weeping branches. Acer palmatum ‘Cascade Citrine’ creates a luminous display for partially shaded corners of the patio or north and east-facing borders. Long, gracefully weeping branches and acid-yellow, deeply-cut foliage, with the tips of the young leaves just tinged in orange. This slow growing tree makes a stunning statement in small gardens and containers, instantly revitalising dull areas. Height: 3m (10ft). Spread: 2m (6.5ft).

Grow Acers in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It's important to give plants shelter from strong winds which can scorch the leaves.

Water regularly throughout the growing season until acer trees are well established. Protect plants from strong winds. Acers require little pruning other than to maintain their shape. Lightly trim stems if necessary from late autumn to midwinter.
