Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
This neat, little Aeonium reaches just 30cm (12") tall. The short stems are topped with shapely green rosettes, with an outside edge of rich burgundy foliage. Aeonium arboreum 'Tip Top' is an evergreen, succulent, sub-shrub that requires temperatures above 5C (41F) if they are to survive. For this reason, they are best grown in containers that can be brought into a heated greenhouse or conservatory during the coldest months. They look particularly attractive planted in terracotta pots and dotted about the patio or set into rockery displays. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 60cm (12").

1 Jumbo Plug Plant (KB2247)

Pot up plugs plants and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before moving to their permanent positions. Grow Aeonium plants in well drained, sandy or gritty soil in sun or light, semi shade.

Aeoniums are frost tender and require temperatures above 5C (41F) if they are to survive. In most parts of the UK they are best grown in pots and moved to a heated greenhouse or conservatory over the winter months.

Like all succulents, Aeoniums have fleshy leaves which store moisture to help them to cope with dry conditions. However these plants also have shallow root systems which can be vulnerable during extended periods of drought. Water moderately and feed occasionally while Aeoniums are in active growth. Avoid watering between late autumn and spring while plants are dormant.

Aeoniums should be moved to a warm, frost free position in autumn with a minimum temperature of 5C (41F). They can be returned to their position outdoors in late spring, or when all risk of frost has passed.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
