A partner to ‘Pitchoune Blue’, Agapanthus ‘Pitchoune White’ boasts equivalent large-sized flowerheads above a nicely compact plant that is perfect for small gardens or patio containers. Gleaming white, trumpet-shaped flowers rise above strappy, evergreen foliage. Flowering continues from mid-summer to autumn, adding late interest to the edges of sunny borders and pots where both the leaves and flowers lend structure to displays. Pair it with ‘Pitchoune Blue’ for an effective colour contrast. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .

Feed and water African Lilies regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blacken the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container grown plants can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Divide agapanthus clumps in spring when they become over crowded.
