Chinese Evergreen is a well-behaved, low maintenance house plant. The broad, sword shaped leaves form a neat and tidy plant with a slow growth rate that won’t get out of hand. Originating from the tropical rain-forests in Asia, it will certainly appreciate a warm room. Aglaonema 'Christina' has variegated silvery-green leaves that will create a lovely centrepiece for your coffee table. The lush, evergreen foliage is perfect for lightening up a shaded spot away from the direct glare of the sun. Height and spread: 35cm (14").

Aglaonema requires a warm temperature above 16C (60F). Position it in a bright spot, well away from direct sunlight and cold draughts.

Water frequently to maintain evenly moist compost. Avoid leaving Aglaonema in standing water as this may cause stem rot. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Chinese Evergreen will benefit from regular misting to increase humidity and prevent the leaf edges drying out.
