Make the most of vertical growing space with this unique indoor hanging display. Air plant Mini Pots on Rope includes three Tillandsia species, in varied colours and forms, sprouting from mini terracotta pots which have been strung with rustic twine. Hygienic and air-purifying, this living ornament requires no soil, making it mess-free and easy to maintain. It makes a perfect accessory for a bright windowsill or shelf and is especially suited to steamy bathrooms.

Air Plants, or Tillandsia, are rainforest plants which grow naturally on rocks and tree branches, gathering the moisture and nutrients they need from the air around them. Spiky tufts of foliage look good all year round, whilst in summer they’re topped with a bright-coloured bloom. These tropical plants need very little care to thrive – just plenty of light and humidity.

Tillandsia are epiphytic plants which do not require compost to grow. Position Air Plants in bright, filtered light with good air circulation, at a minimum temperature of 5C (41F).

Water frequently from spring to autumn by immersing the entire plant in rainwater or misting thoroughly. Allow the plant to completely drain and dry after each watering. Frequency of soaking can be reduced in winter. Feed monthly by adding a small amount of bromeliad fertiliser to misting water.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
