Alyssum ‘Clear Crystal Mixed’ bears larger flowers than most other varieties, in pretty shades of pure white, lavender, and purple. These reliable annuals form cushiony carpets of colour from spring and through summer. They make excellent front of border plants, tucked into corners or creeping over rockeries and banks. They are also good fillers for pots and baskets where they will gently spill over their containers.

Alyssums sweetly fragrant blooms are visited by a host of pollinating insects, providing a useful source of early nectar, and attracting beneficial insects to the veg garden. Alyssum ‘Clear Crystal Mixed’ is an especially vigorous variety and copes well in poor soils and coastal conditions. Height: 30cm (12”). Spread 40cm (16”).

Pot up Alyssum plugs and grow them on in frost free conditions. When plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before transplanting outdoors in their final positions. Choose a position in full sun, on light, well drained soil.

Water regularly until plants become fully established. Cut back after the first flush of bloom to encourage more alyssum flowers to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
