Nestling in wall crevices and rocky crannies, it forms neat rosettes of mid green leaves. In late spring, it produces short racemes of sweetly fragrant, deep rose-carmine, four-petalled flowers which provide plentiful early nectar for foraging pollinators. A short-lived perennial, it loves freely-draining, gravelly soils in full sun. As well as providing stunning spring colour to rock gardens it also makes a useful edging or container plant. Height:15cm (6”). Spread:20cm (8”).

Arabis is a very tolerant plant, and will grow in dry, sunny conditions, and the poorest of soils.Deadhead and trim back plants after flowering to keep them neat and tidy.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
