Argyranthemums are a popular summer plant for vibrant colour in garden borders or flower beds. Argyranthemum aramis 'Apricot' produces unique, colour-changing blooms. These strong, sun-resistant plants produce 100s of large flowers which start orange then fade to pale salmon shades.
Height and spread 30cm

1 x 3 Litre Potted Plant (KF8345)

Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips of the stems to encourage bushier, more compact growth. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Marguerite Daisy plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant them out in well drained soil in sunny borders. Alternatively, grow in patio containers using good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, move container-grown Argyranthemum to bright frost free conditions and reduce watering. In spring, prune back stems to within an inch of the previous years growth. Border grown plants are unlikely to survive the winter outside in all but the mildest areas.
