Pot up begonias plugs into 9cm pots of moist compost from February to March. Grow on in a warm, frost free position. Garden Ready plug plants can be planted straight out in the garden provided that there are no forecasts of frost.
When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise begonias to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period. Transplant begonias into containers or beds and borders, in any well drained soil. Choose a sunny or semi shaded site for their final position. Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded begonia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
