A particularly ornamental Barberry, bearing vibrant foliage mottled with red, pink and white. Flowering from April to May, this pretty deciduous shrub will attract plenty of pollinating insects. Red berries in late summer and bright red autumn foliage continue the display into autumn, ensuring a long season of interest. Berberis thunbergii 'Inspiration' has a neat compact habit that is well suited to rockeries and the front of borders. An attractive and easy to grow shrub that will thrive in a wide range of conditions. Height and spread: 50cm (19”).

Plant Berberis in full sun or partial shade, on a reliably moist, well-drained soil. Barberry plants are extremely resilient and will grow on many different soil types, except waterlogged.
Berberis require little maintenance once established. Trim back the stems lightly after flowering, removing dead or damaged growth at the same time.
