With its large, peachy-pink blooms, Bergenia 'Pink Ice' makes an eye-catching spring display at the front of borders. This hardy perennial is commonly known as Elephant’s Ears for its glossy, rounded leaves which remain evergreen throughout the year. Reliable and easy to grow, Bergenia ‘Pink Ice’ is ideal for forming spreading clumps at the front of cottage garden borders. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Plant Elephant’s Ears in any well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Bergenia will cope with clay soils very well too.

After flowering, remove the faded flowerheads of Bergenia. Cut off any damaged foliage as it occurs too, to keep plants tidy. Lift and divide clumps in spring.
