These beautiful, miniature trees have been carefully trained and grown in traditional, Japanese-style ceramic saucers for that authentic oriental look. With their characterful woody trunks and contrasting leaf shapes and sizes, they make an exquisite miniature landscape for a windowsill, shelf or table.

These Bonsai Trees are best grown in a bright position indoors, away from the direct glare of strong sunlight. Avoid positions that are close to radiators and doorways where they will be affected by cold draughts. Generally, these trees will prefer a cool room such as a spare bedroom, home office or conservatory. In summer, they may be gradually acclimatised to outdoor conditions, and subsequently moved onto the patio if you prefer. Be sure to re-acclimatise them to indoor conditions again in early autumn, so that they can be kept frost free indoors during winter.

A charming and easy-care bonsai that makes a lovely table decoration or window ornament for a bright room. Bonsai ‘Sageretia’ is an evergreen shrub with a dense canopy of small, glossy, oval leaves and flaking, patterned bark. In late summer, clusters of yellowish flowers are sometimes produced, followed by tiny blue fruits. This exquisite bonsai comes pre-planted in a traditional glazed ceramic saucer to enhance its oriental appearance.
