Our world exclusive Buddleja 'Butterfly Towers' straight from our own breeding programme! This duo of both purple and white flowered varieties makes a perfect pair. These unique, upright Buddlejas boast a tall, columnar habit, forming a majestic tower bursting with masses of fragrant flowers. Each large, upward-pointing flower panicle provides a valuable source of nectar that will attract bees and butterflies all summer long. This slender, hardy shrub is reliable and easy to grow. It demands much less space than traditional varieties, making it perfect for small patios and courtyards and an excellent hedging plant for creating colourful garden screens. Height: 2m (6'). Spread: 1m (3').

Grow buddleja in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade. Alternatively grow buddleja plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.

Feed and water container-grown plants regularly. Buddleja planted directly into borders will require only occasional attention. In spring, prune buddleja plants back to a permanent low framework of 3 or 4 buds from the base of the plant. Deadhead faded buddleja flowers to prolong the flowering season.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
