Pot up calibrachoa plants on delivery and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant that will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise mini petunias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well-drained soil, in full sun. Alternatively, if space allows, plant plugs directly into flower pouches, baskets or containers to be moved outside after the last frost.Feed and water calibrachoa plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Take care not to over-water during cooler periods as this may cause the stems to rot. Regular deadheading of faded calibrachoa flowers will encourage further blooms to be pSeeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting.
