Few plants are as versatile and reliable in the garden as this Japanese Sedge! Its arching foliage creates a fountain of green and white variegated leaves that remain evergreen, even through the coldest winters. Carex ‘Feather Falls’ is ideal for softening borders and adding movement and texture to planting schemes. It makes a fabulous specimen for the patio too, especially as part of a mixed winter container. Once established, this clump forming perennial needs very little maintenance, and thrives in both sun and shade. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Carex plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in sun or semi shade. Avoid positions that are prone to extremes of wet or dry.

Carex requires little maintenance once established. Old growth can be combed out with your fingers in winter to make way for fresh growth in spring.
