A lovely little shrub for late season colour, Caryopteris x clandonensis 'Thetis' produces strong, upright stems with slender aromatic, grey-green leaves. From August to September, clusters of beautiful, clear blue flowers appear at the tips of the stems which are highly attractive to pollinating insects. Compact and drought tolerant, this deciduous shrub is perfect for hot dry borders, Mediterranean gardens, cottage gardens and coastal areas. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 150cm (59").

Grow Caryopteris in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. In cold areas Caryopteris will apprectiate the shelter of a warm, sunny wall.
Cut back the previous year's flowered stems to within 2 or 3 buds of the woody framework each spring.
