This elegant, low-spreading Cedar forms a fountain of golden foliage that looks wonderful cascading over a raised border, softening border edges or spilling over rockery boulders or a pond edge where it instantly creates an aura of oriental calm. Cedrus deodara ‘Golden Horizon’ is dwarf and slow-growing, making it perfect for adding texture, colour and architectural form to small urban gardens and courtyards. Height: 45 - 60cm (18-24in). Spread: 1.5 - 1.8m (5-6ft), in 10 years.

Grow Cedar trees in a sunny open site, on any well drained soil. Cedars will tolerate chalky soils well. Grow it in full sun for the best colour and prune out upward shoots to maintain its horizontally spreading habit.

Feed and water young Cedars until fully established. Once established, they require virtually no maintenance.
