Chinese Lantern (Seeds)

• Place seed on the surface of a free draining, damp compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite.
• Seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 15-20°C (59-68F) until after germination which can take 1-6 months. Do not exclude daylight as this helps germination.
• Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 60cm (24in) apart.
• Autumn sowings can be overwintered for planting next spring.
• For drying, cut stems when the lanterns start to show colour, hang upside down in a light airy position.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.
