Incredibly easy to grow, these hardy annual chrysanthemums are also incredibly pretty and unusual, creating quite an impact in summer borders. Chrysanthemum ‘Cockade’ has stunning white, eye catching flowers, each with a cheery ‘sunflower’ halo to make them really stand out. Height: 70cm (30"). Spread: 40cm (20")

Sow April to May outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 6mm (0.25 inch) deep, in rows 23cm (9 inches) apart.

When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm (6 inches) apart.

Water regularly until plants are fully established. Deadhead faded chrysanthemum flowers to prolong the flowering period. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
