Coreopsis ‘American Dream' will flower from summer right through to the autumn. Ideal for planting in drifts through a border, they will create a swathe of pink haze with their mass of dense 2.5cm (1") daisy flowers. Combined with their delicate, ferny foliage, this Coreopsis is a great specimen as it will fill any gaps in the border, to be enjoyed by both you and the butterflies. Height: 50cm (19"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Grow Coreopsis in a sunny or semi shaded position on reliably moist, well drained soil. Coreopsis plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to water logging.

Water regularly until tickseed plants are fully established. Deadhead faded coreopsis flowers to encourage more to be produced throughout the summer. In autumn, remove old foliage and faded flower stems. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of the plant in spring.
