Whilst most garden plants are drab and flowerless during the winter months, this attractive shrub flowers from December until April, making it a great backdrop to early spring bulbs such as crocus and daffodils. The pea like lemon-yellow flowers have a lovely citrus scent, and contrast well with the blue-green foliage. As it grows to a height of just one metre, it is a nice option for smaller gardens, and is also suitable for growing on the patio or decking in planters. Height and spread: 100cm (39").

Water regularly until established, but once established, Coronilla will tolerate drought conditions. Requires very little maintenance, no additional feed is required. After flowering, in May lightly trim shoots. Coronilla will not tolerate hard pruning.
