Cryptomeria japonica 'Twinkle Toes' is a dwarf evergreen conifer forming an irregular to conical mound of finely textured foliage that emerges bright creamy-yellow in spring before fading to pale green in late summer. The speckles of young yellow foliage appear to twinkle against a background of green. In cold winters, the foliage also develops bronze tints. A cute dwarf specimen for rock gardens, containers, and front gardens. Maximum height: 1.5m (5ft). Spread 1.2m (4ft).

Grow Cryptomeria plants in moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Choose a position that is sheltered from cold, drying winds.

Once established, Cryptomeria plants require no pruning or maintenance.
