This dahlia collection is great for providing vibrant colours in your garden at the end of summer and start of autumn. Each of the four varieties have been selected for their beautiful colours, and large fully-double blooms. They are also great for cutting gardens and allotments, as they have tall sturdy stems and repeat flowering ability. They look great in tall flower vases, on tables and windowsills. The dahlias last for years and will flower annually. The tubers can be lifted after the first hard frost of autumn and re-planted the following spring for bigger, better displays.

Varieties: Dahlia ‘Orange Turmoil’ Dahlia ‘Yellow Star’, Dahlia ‘Nuit d’Ete’, Dahlia ‘Badger Twinkle’. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Height Up to 120cm (47in)

Feed and water dahlias regularly throughout the growing season. While dahlia plants are still young, pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage bushier growth and masses of flowers. Deadhead faded dahlia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Bedding dahlia are generally grown as annuals, however dahlia tubers may be lifted in autumn and stored over winter in trays of peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position if required. They can be potted up the following spring.
