Sorry this item is unavailable, why not try these products insteadDescription How to Grow More Info DeliveryMuch more manageable than tall varieties but equally beautiful, Delphinium ‘Dwarf Stars’ is a true dwarf variety that is perfect for the front or middle of smaller garden borders. This classic cottage perennial adds vertical structure but without demanding heavy staking. Delphinium ‘Dwarf Stars’ produces spires in an array of purple, blue, cream, lavender and pink shades, some with a contrasting bee. After the first flush cut off the flowering stem and smaller, side-stems will continue to bear flowers later in the summer. Height: 75cm (29in). Spread: 45cm (18in).

Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.Feed and water delphinium plants until they are fully established. The tall stems of delphinium flowers will require staking with stout canes. Canes should be put in place by mid spring to ensure that the plants are adequately supported throughout the growing season. Cut spikes of faded delphinium flowers back to a flowering side-shoot to encourage a second flush of blooms to be produced. In autumn, cut the old foliage back to ground level. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
