Indulge yourself with the sweet and heady clove-like aromas of Dianthus ‘Bicolour Magenta’. Part of the Garden Pleasures Collection, it has been specially bred for fragrance, perfuming patio pots and window boxes with dainty, crisply-fashioned flowers for months. Dianthus ‘Bicolour Magenta’ bears rich magenta flowers with a contrasting picotee edge. The flowers are borne on sturdy stems on compact, bushy plants, providing an effortless display. Repeat flowering all summer, you’ll have plenty of extra blooms for button-holes, posies and vases. Height: 20cm (8in). Spread: 30cm (12in).

Plant Pinks outdoors in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil that has been enriched with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a position in full sun.

Feed and water regularly until dianthus plants are fully established. Deadhead faded dianthus flowers frequently to encourage more blooms to be produced.
