A combination of a long and abundant flowering, fragrance, attractive foliage and a neat habit makes Dianthus ‘Devon Wizard’ a perfect choice for sunny containers and border edges. This RHS award-winning variety bears clove-scented, double, cerise-pink flowers with dark centres above neat mounds of blue-green foliage. Flowering non-stop from June to September, it will give you plenty of extra blooms for button-holes, posies and vases. Height: 20cm (8in). Spread: 30cm (12in).

Plant Pinks outdoors in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil that has been enriched with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a position in full sun.

Feed and water regularly until dianthus plants are fully established. Deadhead faded dianthus flowers frequently to encourage more blooms to be produced.
