Blazing in neon pink, Dianthus ‘Vivid Bright Light’ is a generous rebloomer. Forming low mounds of hot pink along border edges or neatly filling patio pots, it will keep sizzling from spring to autumn, filling the air with its spicy fragrance. The flowers are so abundant, there will be plenty spare for making sweetly perfumed posies to give away as gifts. Height: 20cm (8in). Spread: 30cm (12in).

Pot up plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting into borders and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, and plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant Dianthus in beds and borders in fertile, well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water Dianthus plants regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
