An exotic looking house plant with marble patterned variegated foliage. Dieffenbachia 'Reflector' starts with a neat bushy habit and as it matures it sheds the leaves near the bottom to expose the bare stem and create more of a palm effect. This variety will purify the air inside your home as well as adding superb architectural interest. A compact house plant that doesn't grow too quickly and is ideal for a light, humid area of your home out of direct sunlight. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 60cm (24"). Please note: Dieffenbachia is also known as the Dumb Cane as the sap is known to numb the mouth if ingested, and is toxic if eaten. Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

Position Dieffenbachia plants in a warm room away from cold draughts and radiators, with a constant temperature above 16C (60F). Choose a bright position in good light, but away from the glare of strong sun. Dieffenbachia copes well in shaded position.

Water Dieffenbachia freely between spring and autumn using tepid rainwater where possible, and allowing the pot to drain well after each watering. In winter, reduce watering but do not allow the compost to completely dry out. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Dieffenbachia appreciates a humid atmosphere - stand it on a tray filled with pebbles and water. As the water evaporates it will increase humidity around the plant.
