The majestic Dypsis lutescens or Bamboo Palm sends up tall stems that become cane-like with maturity. Graceful, arching leaves make this a wonderful specimen plant, softening architecture with its feathered foliage. Height: 4m (13'). Spread: 2.5m (8').

These ingenious pots contain an inbuilt reservoir and a water meter to show when the plant needs watering. No need to worry again about when to water your plants, or waste money on plants that you have killed through incorrect watering! Suitable for home or office, this mess-free, soil-less system uses lava rocks instead of compost, keeping your surfaces clean and deterring pests and flies. Made from recycled materials.

Grow in bright, filtered light, well away from the direct glare of the sun, in normal room temperatures of 18C (65F) - 24C (75F). Avoid positioning near cold draughts and radiators.

Hydro Pots contain a reservoir which will keep your plant hydrated for several days or even weeks, depending upon the size of the pot and the plant’s needs. Use the water meter to determine when the reservoir is running dry. Feed with dilute liquid feed once a month during the growing season.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
