Grow Enkianthus in rich, fertile, moist soil. Redvein enjoys neutral to acid soil conditions, but alkaline soils should be avoided. Choose a position in sun or semi shade.
Feed and water Enkianthus plants regularly until fully established. Redvein plants require little pruning except the removal of any damaged, diseased or misplaced shoots in winter while the plant is dormant, in order to maintain a healthy framework.
